HIH Giveaway and Donation Program:

The Hand-In-Hand association is proud to present “Share & Care,” a student-led initiative promoting generosity, sustainability, and community support. This event invites students, faculty, and local partners to donate gently used or new items (clothing, books, stationery, hygiene products, etc.), which will then be redistributed free of charge to fellow students and community members in need. By turning donations into giveaways, we aim to reduce waste, ease financial burdens, and foster a culture of mutual aid on campus. This event aims to directly alleviate material needs among university students and nearby residents by providing essential items at no cost, while promoting circular economy principles and student-led solidarity.
HIH Care Day; Our space our stewardship:

“HIH Care Day: Our Space, Our Stewardship”, a campus-wide initiative to promote environmental responsibility and collective ownership of shared spaces. Aligning with the association's core values of unity and cooperation, this volunteer-driven event brought international students to clean campus grounds, maintain gardens, and beautify common areas such as college round about and student’s playground. Beyond the physical clean-up, the day fostered a sense of shared duty among participants, encouraging students from diverse backgrounds to work side by side in preserving their university environment. Directed by the Overseas Education College (OEC), the event successfully reinforced the message that stewardship is not a task for a few but a commitment by all, turning a simple care day into a meaningful cross-cultural bonding experience.
HIH Skill Exchange Event (Smart document processing and automation):

“Skill Exchange Event” focused on “Smart Document Processing and Automation”, featuring guest speaker Dr. Nuku Atta Kordzo Abiew. Designed to equip international students with practical, career-ready technological skills, the session introduced participants to AI- assisted editing features, software driven tools for document management, workflow automation, and data extraction. Dr. Nuku delivered an engaging, hands-on workshop that bridged technical knowledge with real-world applications, encouraging cross-cultural collaboration through group problem-solving exercises. True to the association's mission of equality and cooperation, the event provided an accessible learning platform where students from diverse academic backgrounds could exchange expertise and grow together. Directed by the Overseas Education College (OEC), this skill-building initiative demonstrated how technology can serve as a universal language, further strengthening the bonds of friendship and mutual development within Jiangsu University's global community.
