All students are expected to pay off fees on arrival, or will be unable to obtain resident permit. Application fee and seat reservation fee are non-refundable, but will be deducted from the fee you should be paying after registering on campus.
2. On-Campus Accommodation
LONG-TERM ACCOMMODATION
CNY 4,500 to 4,900 per person per academic year (Double-room)
SHORT-TERM ACCOMMODATION
CNY 50 per person per day
PS: The University does not permit freshmen to live off-campus.
3.Other Fees
Following expenses are for first-year only:
Application Fee: 200 CNY
Registration Fee: 400 CNY
Physical Examination: approximately 400 CNY (to be paid to Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau)
Annual Expenses from first year to last year:
Medical Insurance Fee: 600 CNY/ year (to be paid to the life insurance company)
Resident Permit: 400 CNY (to be paid to Public Security Bureau)
Books: Flexible, about 600 CNY/year
Living Expenses: approximately 1,200 CNY/month (Depends on your personal budget)
4. Payment Deadlines
Application Fee: the applicants shall pay within 15 days after submitting the application online.
Seat Fee (including Registration Fee): the applicants shall pay within 10 working days after receiving the scanned copy of the admission notice, otherwise the admission will not be kept.
Tuition Fees: The freshmen shall pay off the tuition fees of the current academic year within one month after registration; Continuing students should pay off the tuition fee within 15 days in the first semester of each academic year.
Accommodation Fee: The freshmen shall pay off the accommodation fee of the current year before checking in; Continuing students should pay off the accommodation fee within 10 days in the first semester of each academic year.
Medical Insurance Ppremium: Freshmen in China must complete the payment before completing the registration procedures, usually within 3 days after arrival at JSU; The senior students shall pay the insurance premium of the current year within 3 days after the beginning of the first semester of each academic year.
Physical Examination and Residence Permit Fees: paid on the spot at the Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau or Immigration.
