Eligibility and Requirements

For Bachelor's Degree, International Foundation Programs(undergraduate)

1. Eligibility and Requirements:

Non-Chinese citizens who are physically and mentally healthy, possess a strong academic background, willingly to comply with Chinese laws and university regulations, and respect the customs and habits of the Chinese people are eligible to apply.

Applicants should have completed high school or possess equivalent qualifications. They must hold a valid passport. 18 to 25 years old. Applicants under 18 years of age should provide a guaranty from a guardian. Applicants who were previously Chinese citizens and have subsequently acquired foreign nationality shall meet the requirements in the relevant regulations of China's Ministry of Education.

2. Application Documents:

(1) Passport: A scanned copy of the passport's main page (valid until after January 31, 2025). Applicants with previous experiences in China should provide scans of all documents related to Chinese visas and residence permits.

(2) High School Diploma: The original or notarized copy of the high school diploma. Current high school graduates should provide a pre-graduation certificate issued by their schools (graduation date should be before July 31, 2024). Upon registration, the official high school diploma must be submitted.

(3) High School Transcripts: The original or notarized copy of all high school course transcripts.

(4) English Proficiency (For English-Taught Programs): Applicants for programs taught in English must provide copies of their IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo English Test scores. IELTS scores should be above 5.5, TOEFL scores should be above 80, or Duolingo scores should be above 85.

(5) Personal Statement: A self-statement of intent for studying in China (no less than 800 words), written in either Chinese or English. The content should include personal educational and work experiences, motivations for studying in China, reasons for selecting the specific major, and post-graduation personal development plans.

(6) Foreigner Physical Examination Form: Applicants must undergo a medical examination following the items listed in the form. The examination results are valid for 6 months.

(7) Financial Statement: Either the family deposit certificate, property certificate or parent/guardian income certificate with a recommended minimum value of $5,000 USD or equivalent.

(8) Non-criminal Record within 6 months.



For Master's Degree, Ph.D. Degree, and Senior Researchers

1. Eligibility and Requirements:

Non-Chinese citizens who are physically and mentally healthy, possess a strong academic background, willingly to comply with Chinese laws and university regulations, and respect the customs and habits of the Chinese people are eligible to apply.

Master: Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Principally, an applicant's age should not exceed 30 years old.

Ph.D.: Applicants should hold a master's degree or its equivalent. Principally, an applicant's age should not exceed 40 years old.

2. Application Documents:

(1) Passport: A scanned copy of the passport's main page (valid until after January 31, 2025). Applicants with previous experiences in China should provide scans of all documents related to Chinese visas and residence permits.

(2) Original or Notarized Degree Certificates: Original or notarized copies of all degree certificates starting from the undergraduate level. Current graduates should provide a pre-graduation certificate issued by their universities (graduation date should be before July 31, 2024). The original degree certificates must be submitted upon registration.

(3) Original or Notarized Transcripts: Transcripts for all courses taken starting from the undergraduate level.

(4) CV: Include a chronological list of educational experiences from the undergraduate level onward. Applicants with previous educational experiences in China should include all study experiences.

(5) Study Plan: At least 800 words, include details about applicants' educational and work background, academic achievements, research plans, and personal development goals. Ph.D. applicants should also provide a detailed academic research plan.

(6) Language Proficiency Proof: Applicants from non-English speaking countries should provide scanned copies of TOEFL, IELTS, GRE scores, or other documents proving their English proficiency.

(7) Two Recommendation Letters: Either Chinese or English and signed by associate professors or professors in a relevant field.

(8) Foreigner Physical Examination Form: Applicants must undergo a medical examination following the items listed in the form. The examination results are valid for 6 months.

(9) Financial Statement: Either the family deposit certificate, property certificate or parent/guardian income certificate with a recommended minimum value of $5,000 USD or equivalent.

(10) Non-criminal Record within 6 months.

(11) List and Abstracts of Published Academic Papers.



Culture and Practice-One Year Program and One Semester Program

1. Eligibility and Requirements:

(1) Non-Chinese nationals; 

(2) Friendly towards China, with no criminal record, and abide by the laws, regulations, and rules of the Chinese government and the university; 

(3) Physically and mentally healthy, with excellent conduct and academic performance; 

(4) Aged between 18-45 years old.

2. Application Documents:

(1) Passport: A scanned copy of the passport's main page (valid until after January 31, 2025). Applicants with previous experiences in China should provide scans of all documents related to Chinese visas and residence permits.

(2) The Officially Certified Certificates of the Highest Diploma。

(3) The original or notarized copy of the Highest Diploma’s transcripts.

(4) Foreigner Physical Examination Form: Applicants must undergo a medical examination following the items listed in the form. The examination results are valid for 6 months.

(5) Financial Statement: Either the family deposit certificate, property certificate or parent/guardian income certificate with a recommended minimum value of $5,000 USD or equivalent.

(6) Non-criminal Record within 6 months.
