· To support student welfare and strengthen communication between students and the university.

Primary Focus for Membership

The association primarily serves international students studying Medicine, Pharmacy, and other health-related programs at Jiangsu University. Eligible members include undergraduate and postgraduate students from medical and healthcare-related majors.

First Aid Training & Basic Life Saving Skills: A hands-on emergency response training event aimed at improving students’ practical lifesaving skills and awareness.

EXECUTIVE MEMBERS RESPONSIBILITIES

HEAD OF ASSOCIATION

The Head of Association shall:

· Lead the association and oversee all operations and activities of IMSA-JU

· Preside over all official meetings and events

· Represent IMSA-JU in all official matters, partnerships, and external engagements

· Approve all expenditures and official decisions of the association

· Delegate responsibilities to other executive members as needed

DEPUTY HEAD OF ASSOCIATION

The Deputy Head of Association shall:

· Assist the Head of Association in all administrative and operational duties

· Perform the duties of the Head of Association in their absence, with full delegated authority

· Supervise coordination among all departments and executive roles

· Manage special projects and initiatives assigned by the Head of Association

· Facilitate communication between the executive team and student body

SECRETARY FOR CLINICAL MEDICAL STUDENTS

The Secretary for Clinical Medical Students shall:

· Represent the interests of clinical medicine students within IMSA-JU

· Manage academic communication between students, faculty, and the association

· Collect, document, and escalate student concerns related to clinical training and academics

· Support the planning and execution of educational activities for clinical students

· Serve as a liaison between clinical departments and the IMSA-JU executive board

SECRETARY FOR PHARMACY & LAB MED. STUDENTS

The Secretary for Pharmacy & Lab Med. Students shall:

· Represent pharmacy and laboratory medicine students in association matters

· Assist in academic coordination between students, lab faculty, and the association

· Promote student participation in lab-based workshops, research, and association activities

· Address student concerns related to lab training, equipment, and academic resources

· Organize discipline-specific events to support pharmacy and lab medicine students

SECRETARY FOR DENTAL MED. STUDENTS

The Secretary for Dental Med. Students shall:

· Represent dental medicine students within IMSA-JU

· Strengthen communication between dental students, faculty, and the association

· Support departmental activities, workshops, and events for dental students

· Collect and escalate student concerns related to dental training, clinics, and academics

· Promote engagement and collaboration among dental students

ORGANIZING SECRETARY

The Organizing Secretary shall:

· Plan, coordinate, and execute all association events, workshops, and activities

· Manage event logistics, venues, schedules, and resources

· Ensure smooth execution of programs and activities in collaboration with other roles

· Coordinate with external partners, speakers, and venues for events

· Maintain event calendars and track upcoming activities for the executive board

PUBLICITY & WELFARE OFFICER

The Publicity & Welfare Officer shall:

· Manage all publicity, social media, and promotional activities for IMSA-JU

· Create and distribute content to promote events, initiatives, and student engagement

· Support student welfare, unity, and inclusion within the association

· Serve as a point of contact for students facing academic stress, isolation, or personal difficulties

· Organize well-being activities, peer support sessions, and welfare workshops

· Maintain and share resources for university support services (counselling, aid, etc.)

· Draft and enforce a safe, inclusive Code of Conduct for all IMSA-JU events
