为做好2020年第一批次毕业研究生学位授予工作，现就其学位论文送审、答辩及学位评定、证书发放等工作通知如下：

The information related to concerned offices is given below (centers, institutes / institutes):

In order to do a good job in awarding the first batch of graduate degree in 2020, the following announcements are given concerning the examination, defense, degree evaluation and certificate issuance of the dissertations:

1.论文提交、送审、答辩等相关事宜要求

1.Submission , defense requirements and other related matters

（1）所有类别研究生的学位论文在送审前必须进行学位论文学术不端行为检测工作（具体要求详见附件1），检测合格者方可进入学位论文送审环节。

(1) The dissertations of all types of postgraduates must be tested for academic misconduct [Plagiarism] before it is submitted for trial (see Annex 1 for details). Only those who pass the check can further continue to submit their dissertation for blind trial.

（2）所有类别研究生的学位论文送审报批均以学院为单位报送（详见附件2：学院学位论文送审报批表），需要提交送审申请的研究生，在征得导师同意后，告知本学院教学秘书，教学秘书核实情况征得分管领导同意后，统一汇总电子表格交学位办和海院教务办，学位办会根据报送情况将报批情况反馈给学院。

（2）Thesis submission for all types of postgraduates shall be submitted by their own school as a unit (see Annex 2). Postgraduates who need to submit the thesis need the agreement with their supervisors and inform secretary of the school.

（3）博士学位论文的送审工作由各学院和研究生院共同负责实施，实行“实名评审”+“盲审”相结合的制度。

实名评审由学科、学院根据每批次送审的博士研究生的学位论文研究方向确定1名专家或专家组(形成一份评阅意见)，并报学位办备案，具体送审由各学院具体实施，评审结果专家必须签字。“盲审”工作具体由学位办负责实施。

各学院报送博士研究生报批汇总表时需附实名送审通过的评阅意见书扫描件（附件3空白的博士评阅意见书）方可进入“盲审”工作环节。

(3) All schools and the graduate school are jointly responsible for the submission of doctoral dissertation.

自2020年起，为了保证当批次送审的研究生的论文送审以及学位申请工作能顺利进行，所有类别研究生学位论文送审实行集中受理的方式，也就是在截止日期（博士4月24日、硕士5月11日）到5月31日期间不受理任何人的首次学位论文送审。在本批次截止日期前学位论文送审报批时间仍为每周一下午和周四上午。请各学院务必根据本批次拟毕业研究生的人数及具体情况统筹安排好论文送审报批进度。逾期不再受理首次论文送审报批。

Since 2020, in order to ensure the smooth progress of the thesis submission and degree application of the postgraduates in this batch,we only accept submission by the school. The deadline for PHD thesis submission is 24th April, the deadline for Master thesis submission is 11th May.Please submit all the materials to your school,we do not accept any individual’s first dissertation submission.

Before the deadline of this batch, the submission time of thesis is still Monday afternoon and Thursday morning. Each school is required to arrange the progress of thesis submission according to the number of graduate students. We do not accept any thesis submission after the deadline.

(4)所有类别硕士研究生学位论文全部由学院负责送审（拟申报优秀学位论文除外），为做好检查监督工作，学位办将对本批次毕业送审的硕士学位论文进行同步抽评送检（名单不公开），送检不合格结果将反馈相关学院，由学院根据《江苏大学对抽检评议有不合格意见的研究生学位论文的处理办法》进行处理。

(4)All kinds of master's dissertations shall be submitted by the school (except for the students who apply For Outstanding Graduate Thesis). In order to do a good job in inspection and supervision, the degree office in graduate school will conduct synchronous sampling and evaluation (the list is not open), and the unqualified results will be fed back to the relevant school, and the school will deal with it according to “The measures of Jiangsu University to deal with the thesis of postgraduates with unqualified opinions”.

(5)专业学位硕士学位论文学院可以试行其中一份采用会评的方式形成评阅意见，各学院需在送审前将会评方案报研究生院学位办备案方可实行，至硕士送审的截止日期若未报送会评方案视为维持原“盲审”方式。

(6)博士学位论文评阅意见返回份数将及时公布于“江苏大学研究生院”网页（http://yjsy.ujs.edu.cn），每天更新，请上网查询学位论文评阅意见返回情况，评阅意见到齐后，学位办将会通过电子方式传送评阅意见给学院教学秘书。

(6)The number of returned comments on doctoral dissertation will be published on the website of Graduate School of Jiangsu University (http://yjsy.ujs.edu.cn) in time, and updated every day. Please check the return of comments on doctoral dissertation online.After the comments are received, the degree office will send the comments to each school secretary via electronic means.

(7)研究生学位论文答辩时间应在收到合格的研究生学位论文评阅意见后确定。不符合本条规定的论文答辩将不能确保按期进行。

(7) The defense time of postgraduate dissertation shall be determined after receiving the comments of qualified postgraduate dissertation. The defense of papers that do not meet the requirements of this article will not be guaranteed to be conducted on schedule.

2.申报优秀学位论文的论文送审要求

2.The requiremwnts for application of excellent graduate dissertations

根据《江苏大学优秀研究生学位论文评选办法》精神，拟申报优秀学位论文的研究生须在学位论文提交送审前提出申请，填写“江苏大学研究生优秀学位论文拟报申请表” （范本见附件4），在征得导师同意后，按规定时间以电子格式发给本学院教学秘书，教学秘书核实情况后，统一汇总至报批表交研究生院学位办。逾期未提出申请者，本次优秀学位论文申报无效。

According to the spirit of the "Selection Method for Excellent Graduate Dissertations of Jiangsu University", postgraduates who intend to apply for Outstanding Dissertations must submit their applications before submitting their dissertations for examination, and fill in the "Application Form for Outstanding Graduate Dissertations of Jiangsu University" (see Annex 4 for the template) and submit them to the Graduate School's Degree Office. If the applicant fails to file an application, the declaration of this excellent dissertation will be invalid.

3.学位授予材料提交要求

3.Requirements and materials to be submitted for granting Degree .

请各学院在适当的时候召开学位评定分委员会会议。请各学院分委会开会前将本批次上分会人员的材料在本学院网站上公示，

务请各学院将本批次建议授予硕士、博士学位人员名单及材料于6月中旬左右（初定，具体日期视本批次校学位委员会议的终定时间确定，届时会再行通知）报研究生院学位办。

All colleges and universities are requested to convene a meeting of Sub Committee on academic degrees at the appropriate time.

All colleges are requested to submit the names and materials of the proposed batch of postgraduate and doctoral candidates in the middle of June to the Graduate School's Degree Office.

4.学历、学位证书的制作及发放

4.Granting Graduation and Degree certificates.

（1）证书制作

所有毕业研究生的学历、学位证书均由研究生院负责打印。证书照片粘贴由各学院负责，粘贴时间另行通知。

(1) Preparation of certificate

All graduate diploma are printed by OEC and degree certificates are printed by graduate school.

（2）证书发放

证书须经学院、财务处、研究生院签批同意后发放。国家计划内非定向及自费硕士的证书由学院发放，委托培养和定向硕士以及所有博士的证书由研究生院根据相关规定发放。

证书的专属领取时间将在适当时间另行通知。请证书领取者在专属时间领证，否则，仅专属领证时间后一个月内的每周四下午为领证时间（节假日除外），非证书发放时间原则上谢绝领证。

证书领发要求详见“毕业研究生学历、学位证书领发注意事项”。

(2)Issuance of Certificate

The certificate must be approved by the Institute, finance department and graduate school.Schools stipulate the third and fourth working days after each batch of degree committees are the exclusive time for the issuance of master's degree, degree certificate and doctoral degree certificate (doctoral degree needs to be publicized for three months). The exclusive time for the issuance of doctoral degree certificate is the first time after the expiration of three months after the commencement of the degree committees. Certificate holders are requested to receive the certificate at the exclusive time. Otherwise, only Thursday afternoons, after one month of expiratory period, will be the time for obtaining the certificate (except holidays).

（3）证书更换

因信息错误导致需更换证书的学生，须在下一批次初向研究生院学位办提出更换证书的书面申请，待申购证书内芯后方可更换证书，本批次不接受此类申请。

请各学院按规定时间与研究生院共同做好2020年第一批次毕业研究生的学位授予等各项工作。

(3)Replacement of Certificate

因信息错误导致需更换证书的学生，须在下一批次初向研究生院学位办提出更换证书的书面申请，待申购证书内芯后方可更换证书，本批次不接受此类申请。

请各学院按规定时间与研究生院共同做好2019年第一批次毕业研究生的学位授予等各项工作。

Students who need to change their certificates due to errors in the information must submit written applications to the Graduate School Degree Office at the beginning of the next batch. The certificates can be replaced only after the valid reason of the application certificate is accepted . Such applications are not accepted in this batch.

All colleges and graduate schools are warmly invited to do a good job in awarding the first batch of graduate students in 2020.

Submit your thesis to your respective faculty [Secretary].The dissertations of all types of postgraduates must be tested for academic misconduct [Plagiarism] before it is submitted for trial . Only those who pass the check can further continue to submit their dissertation for blind trial.

Step 4

Prepare the documents for evaluation:

a. Application form to submit dissertation [soft and hard copy, 2 copies]

b. Basic information form [soft and hard copy, 2 copies，please make sure your personal information, your name, birthday, major]

c. Dissertation information form [It is mandatory to fill Chinese and English title of the thesis] [soft and hard copy]

d. Handbook [Must be filled and signed]

e. Transcript [2 hard copies]

f. Academic card (master: at least 10 times. PhD: at least 15 times)

g. Plagiarism report

h. HSK certificate

I. Thesis [PDF and shouldn’t contain any information regarding supervisor or publications]

Step 5

The defense time of postgraduate dissertations should be determined after receiving the opinions of postgraduate dissertations and must fulfill the requirements for defense. Failure to comply with the provisions of this article will not ensure that thesis defense is carried out on schedule. It is particularly emphasized that if dissertation opinions and comments do not fulfill the requirements, the defense of a dissertation is invalid.

The students who register in 2018,please fill the form from onlineteaching system.
