To encourage students to participate in scientific innovation and subsidize students to carry out academic research and creation, Jiangsu University has decided to push on the scientific projects establishment.

Notes for application:

1. The 15thestablishment of scientific projectis categorized intomajor project, funding projectand general project.

2. Applicants are supposed to be full-time students. 2nd-year and 3rd-year students are preferred. Each student can only apply for one project.

3. The total number of major projects is approximately 30, each of them could be funded CNY 10, 000. Major projects are required to be applied separately.

4. The total number of funding projects is approximately 800. Each of them could be funded CNY 1200.

5. The total number of general projects is around 400, no fund available.

6. Every project must be carried out under the guidance of a certain tutor who cannot take charge of more than 3 projects.

7. Normally, each applicant can only apply for one project, which must be completed in one year. Applicants can apply for delay of another year under certain circumstance. Students with unfinished previous projects are not entitled to apply.

How to Register:

1. All the applicants are required to fill and submit “ The application Form of Scientific Project”, which can be downloaded fromhttp://jdqn.ujs.edu.cn/(scientific innovation→scientific project) orhttp://keyuan.ujs.edu.cn/(brand activity→scientific project). Individual application will not be accepted.

2. OEC shall collect all applications with stamps on them and submit between May 3rd, 2016 and May 6th, 2016. Youth League committee of university does not accept individual application.

(PS: Highest Academic Level should be according to the applicants’ and partners’ highest degree, including bachelor, master and PhD. The applicants and partners shall not exceed 2 people. Projects of undergraduate need submit copies of writers’ students ID card, printed with A4 paper and attaching to application form. Faculty of Tutor should indicate tutor’s college or department.
