Dear students,

Jiangsu University now introduces the students e-mail platform. This would be a great news for students who wish to have an e-mail id with the university domain. All JSU students can use this service by default (no need of applications or activations)

ADVANTAGES OF UNIVERSITY E-MAIL ACCOUNT:

1. Useful when some websites/organizations give special offers only offered to students and an "edu" domain e-mail id are required.

2. Useful when used for academic purposes and to communicate with professors.

3. A better way for the university to keep contact with its alumni.

4. Get SMS notifications about your e-mail (scroll down for more info)

HOW TO LOG-IN:

-- Website: stmail.ujs.edu.cn

-- Username: campus card number

-- Password: last six digits of your passport number (default); if that does not work, try using your campus card password. Please got to the information center (first floor of old library) if you face any problems.

-- Your email-id: campus card number@stmail.ujs.edu.cn

NOTE:

1. Students who activated @ujs.edu.cn e-mail id can continue to use the @stmail.ujs.edu.cn e-mail

2. @stmail.ujs.edu.cn accounts do not expire even after your graduation.

3. Students who activated @ujs.edu.cn e-mail accounts cannot use them after graduation.

4. You can import all e-mails from your alternate e-mails. Go to Settings->advanced->import e-mail

ADVANCED SETTINGS:

IMAP: stmail.ujs.edu.cn

SMTP: stmail.ujs.edu.cn

SERVER: stmail.ujs.edu.cn

USING IT FOR FIRST TIME:

After log-in the system asks you to link a mobile number. You can link your mobile number and click 确定 to confirm or click 取消 to cancel and enter the e-mail directly. Linking your mobile to the e-mail account can help you receive notifications about your e-mail.

The system (interface) language is "Chinese" by default. Please follow the instructions to learn how to change the system language to "English".
