To All Overseas Students,

The 2016-2017 academic year scholarship for Outstanding Student & Individual awards has begun. Outstanding Student Scholarship is open to all qualified undergraduates, and Individual Awards is open to both undergraduates and postgraduates. All qualified overseas students are welcome to apply. Details are as follow:

1. Qualifications

(1) One year or above study period in Jiangsu University.

(2) Passion for China and Chinese Culture, active participation in activities organized by Jiangsu University and colleges.

(3) Compliance with rules and disciplines of Jiangsu University without any punishment record.

(4) Excellent academic performance without any failed subjects within one year.

2. Amount and Proportion

(1) Excellent study scholarship:

1st Class: CNY 3,000/person, 3% of each class

2nd Class: CNY 1,000/person, 8% of eachclass

3rd Class: CNY 500/person, 17% of each class

(2) Individual awards: Academic Star, Sport Star, Literature & Art Star, Volunteering Star, Growth Star; CNY 500/person

3. Assessment Criteria

(1) The scholarship assessment is based on the evaluation of comprehensive quality, which adds up Basic quality score, Academic course score and Innovation ability score (G=G1*10%+G2*70%+G3*20%).

(2) The result of the overall development assessment (G3) is regarded as the basis of the competition of individual scholarship.

5. Procedures

(1) Assessment committee set up by class teacher shall finish the Basic Quality Assessment before 16:30 on Sep 26th.

(2) Qualified Students shall submit application with attachments before 16:30 on Sep 28th.

(3) Assessment and selection will be finished by Overseas Education College before Oct 10th.

(4) Publicity will be done during Oct 11th and 16th.
