The PhD program in Mathematics aims to cultivate advanced researchers with a solid mathematical foundation, innovative research capabilities, and the ability to independently solve real-world problems. The program covers various research areas, including nonlinear dynamics, nonlinear functional analysis, and partial differential equations, with a focus on advancing mathematical theory and its applications in science, engineering, and other fields.
Program Features
Balance Between Theory and Application
This program emphasizes the integration of theoretical mathematics research with practical problem-solving, particularly in fields such as nonlinear dynamics and partial differential equations. PhD students will explore mathematical principles in depth while addressing complex problems related to physics, engineering, economics, and other disciplines, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and integration.
Interdisciplinary and Collaborative Research
The program encourages interdisciplinary research and collaboration with scholars from other fields, using mathematical methods to solve a wide range of scientific and engineering problems. For example, through partnerships with physics, computer science, and biology, the program fosters the innovative application of mathematical methods, training experts who can solve complex problems in various domains.
Cutting-Edge Mathematical Theory
The program focuses on advancing research in nonlinear dynamics, nonlinear functional analysis, and partial differential equations, driving the development of mathematical theory. Students will have the opportunity to engage in core research in these areas, solving long-standing problems and producing influential academic contributions.
Combination of Theory and Practice
In addition to pure theoretical research, the program emphasizes the application of mathematics to real-world problems. PhD students will participate in projects closely related to industry, research institutions, and socie...
