The PhD program in Materials Science and Engineering focuses on the development, performance optimization, and application of novel materials in various high-tech fields. Research areas include the preparation and microstructure-property control of new metallic materials, advanced material forming and processing technologies, inorganic materials and devices, functional high polymer materials, and bio/energy interface functional materials.     Combines modern manufacturing technologies to study forming and processing methods for new materials, including precision machining, additive manufacturing, and the development of advanced manufacturing techniques.

  3. Inorganic Materials and Devices
    In-depth research on inorganic materials and their application in various devices, especially in high-tech fields such as semiconductors, optoelectronics, and sensors.

  4. Bio/Energy Interface Functional Materials
    Focuses on the application of materials in biomedicine and energy conversion, particularly the innovative use of interface functional materials in bio-compatibility and energy conversion.
