(1) Non-Chinese citizens who are physically and mentally healthy, have a good academic background, willingly abide by Chinese laws and school regulations, and respect the customs and habits of the Chinese people.

(2) Aged between 18-25, with those under 18 needing to submit a guardian's guarantee. For applicants who were originally Chinese citizens and later acquired foreign nationality, relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education apply.

-Educational Background Requirement: Foreign citizens with a high school diploma or equivalent;

-Grade Requirement: 70% or above, or equivalent to a B grade;

-English Requirement: IELTS score of 5.5 or above, TOEFL score of 80 or above, or Duolingo score of 100 or above.

In the end of the course, students who wish to take bachelor degree courses at JSU will have to apply for “Admission Entrance Exam for Overseas Students”. 

Students who score well in this exam will be admitted to the next intake for bachelor degree students.

Application Fee: CNY 200, non-refundable, regardless of admission.

Registration Fee: CNY 400,

Tuition Fee: CNY 7,800 per semester,

Accommodation Fee: CNY 4,500 per bed per year (North-side) or CNY 4,900 per bed per year (South-side), or CNY 30 per bed per day.

Visa Fee: CNY 400 per year.

Medical Examination Fee: CNY 550 per examination.

Insurance Fee: CNY 350 per semester.

Books: Flexible, about CNY 600 

(1) Passport: A scanned copy of the passport's main page (valid until after March 31, 2026). Applicants with previous experiences in China should provide scans of all documents related to Chinese visas and residence permits.

(2) High School Diploma: The original or notarized copy of the high school diploma. Current high school graduates should provide a pre-graduation certificate issued by their schools (graduation date should be before September 10, 2025). Upon registration, the official high school diploma must be submitted.

(3) High School Transcripts: The original or notarized copy of all high school course transcripts.

(4) English Proficiency: IELTS scores should be above 5.5, TOEFL scores should be above 80, or Duolingo scores should be above 100.

(5) Personal Statement: A self-statement of intent for studying in China (no less than 800 words), written in either Chinese or English. The content should include personal educational and work experiences, motivations for studying in China, reasons for selecting the specific major, and post-graduation personal development plans.

(6) Foreigner Physical Examination Form: Applicants must undergo a medical examination following the items listed in the form. The examination results are valid for 6 months.

(7) Financial Statement: Either the family deposit certificate, property certificate or parent/guardian income certificate with a recommended minimum value of $5,000 USD or equivalent.

(8) Non-criminal Record within 6 months.
