Overseas students whose teaching language is a foreign language should reach at least Level 3 of the International Chinese Language Proficiency Standard.
The graduate students who have completed the courses and required parts as stipulated in the cultivation program within the prescribed study period, passed all the exams and the dissertation and met other requirements of the university for graduation will be granted graduation and issued the graduation certificate, and the degree certificate will be issued if they meet the requirements for degree conferment.

For master's degree programs, the scholarship will be renewed once a year after annual evaluation of the student's performance (awarded scholarship from second year may increase or decrease according to evaluation points).

1. Passport: A scanned copy of the passport cover and main page (valid until after September 30, 2026). Applicants with previous experiences in China should provide scans of all documents related to Chinese visas and residence permits.
2. Original or Notarized Degree Certificates: Original or notarized copies of all degree certificates starting from the undergraduate level.
3. Original or Notarized Transcripts: Transcripts for all courses taken starting from the undergraduate level.
4. CV: Include a chronological list of educational experiences from the undergraduate level onward. Applicants with previous educational experiences in China should include all study experiences.
5. Research proposal: At least 800 words, include details about applicants' educational and work background, academic achievements, research plans, and personal development goals. Ph.D. applicants should also provide a detailed academic research plan.
6. Language Proficiency Proof: Applicants for programs taught in English must provide copies of their IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo English Test scores. IELTS scores should be above 6.0, TOEFL scores should be above 80, or Duolingo scores should be above 100.
7. Two Recommendation Letters: Either Chinese or English and signed by associate professors or professors in a relevant field.
8. Foreigner Physical Examination Form: Applicants must undergo a medical examination following the items listed in the form. The examination results are valid for 6 months.
9. Financial Statement: Either the family deposit certificate, property certificate or parent/guardian income certificate with a recommended minimum value of $5,000 USD or equivalent.
10. A valid certificate of Non-criminal Record.
11. List and Abstracts of Published Academic Papers.
