Traffic Engineering is a branch of transportation engineering that focuses on the theory and application of analyzing traffic occurrence, composition, and movement patterns. The main areas of study include traffic planning, intelligent connected control, infrastructure construction, and traffic operation management. The goal is to optimize transportation capacity, efficiency, minimize accidents, and reduce environmental impact.

Career Prospects
Graduates are prepared to work in traffic system planning, design, control, and management, and to engage in urban rail transit engineering design, construction, and management. Within about five years, they will be able to apply their knowledge of natural sciences, management science, and specialized techniques to solve complex traffic engineering problems, assuming roles in engineering, technical, economic, and management positions. Graduates will also possess strong innovation abilities, lifelong learning skills, and an understanding of sustainability principles to address challenges posed by technological advancements and relevant regulations, standards, and policies.

Score Requirement: Above 70% or B or equivalent
HSK Requirement: HSK 4
In order to graduate, Chinese-taught International undergraduate students should achieve Level 5 in Chinese proficiency exam (HSK), with a total score of 180 or above in listening, reading, and writing.
In order to receive a graduation certificate, Chinese-taught International undergraduate students should complete all courses and procedures specified in the training plan, obtain all credits specified in the training plan and meet the graduation requirements within the prescribed study period.
In order to receive a bachelor’s degree certificate, Chinese-taught International undergraduate students must have an average GPA of 1.8 and meet other conditions for awarding a bachelor's degree within the prescribed study period.

Accommodation: CNY 4,500 to 4,900 per person per academic year (Double-room)
Insurance: CNY 600 / year (to be paid to the life insurance company)
Resident Permit: CNY 400 every time (to be paid to Public Security Bureau by candidate)
Books: Flexible, about CNY 600 / year
