Mechanical and Electronic Engineering is an interdisciplinary field integrating mechanical, electronic, computer, and control theories. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Academic Requirement: High School Degree

Score Requirement: Above 70% or B or equivalent

HSK Requirement: HSK 4
GRADUATE REQUIREMENTS

In order to graduate, Chinese-taught International undergraduate students should achieve Level 5 in Chinese proficiency exam (HSK), with a total score of 180 or above in listening, reading, and writing.

In order to receive a graduation certificate, Chinese-taught International undergraduate students should complete all courses and procedures specified in the training plan, obtain all credits specified in the training plan and meet the graduation requirements within the prescribed study period.

In order to receive a bachelor’s degree certificate, Chinese-taught International undergraduate students must have an average GPA of 1.8 and meet other conditions for awarding a bachelor's degree within the prescribed study period.
FEE STRUCTURE

Following expenses are for first year only

Application Fees: CNY 200

Registration Fees: CNY 400

Physical Examination: CNY 550 (to be paid to Entry-Exit Inspection undefinedamp; Quarantine Bureau)

Annual Expenses from first year to last year

Tuition fee: CNY 20,000 / year.

Accommodation: CNY 4,500 to 4,900 per person per academic year (Double-room)

Insurance: CNY 600 / year (to be paid to the life insurance company)

Resident Permit: CNY 400 every time (to be paid to Public Security Bureau by candidate)

Books: Flexible, about CNY 600 / year

Living expenses: Approximately CNY 1,000 /month (Depends on your personal budget)
APPLICATION MATERIALS

1. Apply at “Online Application System” http://admission.ujs.edu.cn;

2. Passport: A scanned copy of the passport's main page (valid until after September 30, 2025). Applicants with previous experiences in China should provide scans of all documents related to Chinese visas and residence permits.

3. High School Diploma: The original or notarized copy of the high school diploma. Current high school graduates should provide a pre-graduation certificate issued by their schools (graduation date should be before February 28, 2025). Upon registration, the official high school diploma must be submitted.

4. High School Transcripts: The original or notarized copy of all high school course transcripts.

5. English Proficiency (For English-Taught Programs): Applicants for programs taught in English must provide copies of their IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo English Test scores. IELTS scores should be above 5.5, TOEFL scores should be above 80, or Duolingo scores should be above 85.

6. Personal Statement: A self-statement of intent for studying in China (no less than 800 words), written in either Chinese or English. The content should include personal educational and work experiences, motivations for studying in China, reasons for selecting the specific major, and post-graduation personal development plans.

7. Foreigner Physical Examination Form: Applicants must undergo a medical examination following the items listed in the form. The examination results are valid for 6 months.

8. Financial Statement: Either the family deposit certificate, property certificate or parent/guardian income certificate with a recommended minimum value of $5,000 USD or equivalent.

9. Non-criminal Record within 6 months.
