Notice on Students Recruit of Yale Class and Yale Lecture

Dear Students:

As the best platform of cultural exchange between Chinese and Western, English provides an easy access for students to be a member of the international community. To broaden students’ international perspectives and improve their ability in academic exchanges which is advocated by the project of “Open to the World” in Jiangsu University, the recruitment forYale ClassandYale Lecturein the first half of 2015 is to be launched. This activity aims at sharing some latest information, developing a group of students who are able to integrate into the world and international competition much faster. The details are shown as follows:

a. How to Start a Business (Stanford Public Class, Sam Altman)

b. Art of Beauty (Cambridge Public Class, a group of professors)

c. Philosophy and Science of Humanity (Yale University, TamarSzabó Gendler)

1. Harvard Writing Resources Learning (Online Writing Lab)

3.Training Method:

a. video class & instruction from foreign professors throughout the activity

b. establish a QQ group for daily communicate among members

4.Time &Place:

 Time: classes will start in late April (6:30pm—8:00pm on Tuesday and Thursday)

 Place: Lecture Hall on the 1stfloor in Library

5. Recruiting Targets:

Yale Lecture:all postgraduates

6. Requirements for students:

 Students who are ready for further studies or study abroad

7. Registration Matters:

 a. Please send your name, class, students ID number tooecstudent@ujs.edu.cnand the Overseas Student Affairs Office will make a selection.

 b. Registration deadline: April 14th
