OEC with special auspices from Jiangsu University is organizing a fire drill in and around the overseas apartment to educate students on the ABCs of curtailing a fire outbreak.

Education will center on:

• Evacuation techniques

• Extinguisher usage

• Waterhose relay

      With the exception of the evacuation techniques, all other activities will be in the form of competitions and winners will receive prizes.

Date: 2015-11-06

Time: 2:00 pm (but participants should be present at 1:30 pm)

Venue: Overseas Apartment, Jiangsu University

      Students should please note that on the day of the fire drill, there will be induced smoke in the Apartment and this should not be a cause for alarm.

      Students who do not have lectures on Friday afternoon should take part in the exercise of Evacuation techniques. And those who are capable to do the competitions, please register with you class monitor.
