Dear OEC students,

According to the notice of the Ministry of Education, the China Scholarship Council will support the outstanding foreign students of our college in the 2016-2017 academic year, details are as follows:

1. Candidates of self-funded Undergraduate students:

a) full-time undergraduates in theirsecond-year(included) or above.

b) Quota allocation: 5 students.

c) Scholarship amount: one-off scholarship, the total of RMB¥15,000/person.

d) This scholarship cannot be compatible with Chinese Government Scholarship, Jiangsu Provincial JasmineScholarship, Jiangsu University Presidential Scholarship and company scholarship in 2016.

2. Candidates of all degree students:

a)Degree students (undergraduates and postgraduates) in their second-year (included) or above. Those students who got CSC scholarship are also included.

b)Quota allocation: 3 students at most (total 232 in China).

c)Scholarship amount:undergraduates with the total of RMB¥15,000/person; postgraduates with the total of RMB¥30,000/person.

d)Students will be judged by the secretariat of China Scholarship Council.

3. Requirements for applicants:

a) UndergraduateStudents who won the second-class scholarship; postgraduate students who have good learning and research ability.

b)Students who are friendly with China and have outstanding performance in China.

c)Students who obey the laws of China, the regulations of JU and OEC, with good morality and high contribution to OEC and students. Never be punished by OEC or other departments; All fees have been paid on time.

d)Students who actively participate in social, campus and sports activities; priority will be given to those who make outstanding contribution.

e)Students from financially disadvantage families will be given the priority if competed on equal conditions.

4. Application Materials:

A.Paper Application Materials: The filled-out Application Form of Excellent scholarship for international students.

B.The personal summary of your study/research, school life and activities.

5. The Selection Process:

A.Before 5:00pm on 14^thJune, qualified students should submit application materials to the OEC class teachers.

B.Before 15^thJune, class selection and recommendations.

C.At 2:00pm on 20^thJune in OEC meeting room, OEC interview, evaluation and selection.

D.During 20-27^thJune, OEC and Jiangsu University publicization.

E.Secretariat of China Scholarship Council evaluation.

After publicization, the final candidates log in laihua.csc.edu.cn to submit electronic application information on the daytime of 28^thJune.
