Dear Students,

Toimprove Jiangsu’s international influence and deepen the understanding of andlove for Jiangsu and China by foreign friends in Jiangsu, and encourage them totake a more active part in Jiangsu’s social-economic development, hosted byJiangsu Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countriesand Jiangsu Federation of literary and Art Circles, organized by JiangsuPhotographers Association and co-sponsored by municipal people’s associationsfor friendship with foreign countries and photographers associations, “Focus onWonderful Jiangsu”---2016 International Photo Contest for Foreign Friends inJiangsu is to be launched. Participants should be International friends who areworking, studying and living in Jiangsu, OEC will organize students toparticipate in this contest. OEC will collect all of your works and send themto the contest. The requirements of the works are as follow:

1. The photos shall reflect the brilliantachievements of Jiangsu on all fronts and from all walks of life since thereform and opening up to the outside world, show its natural beauty andfavorable ecological environment, and reveal its colorful culture and customsas well as the work, study and life of the international friends in Jiangsu.

2. All photos shall be contributed by softcopies, with 10 pieces at most for each participant (1 series consisting of nomore than 4 pieces). The format should be JPEG and each piece shall not besmaller than 3M. The photos shall record actual events and PS in the productionstage and substitution are not allowed.

3. All photos shall be titled (explanatorynote is restricted to 100 words).Pleaseattach the photographer’s personal information, including name, major, studentID, nationality, Sex and contact information.If the work is mentored,please indicate the mentor’s information.

All participants shall submityour works tooecstudent@ujs.edu.cnbefore Oct.14.The contest will award 5 First Prize winners, 15 Second Prize winners, 30 ThirdPrize winners, 50 Excellent Works Award winners and 80 pieces of works will beawarded Finalist Award. The winners will receive certificate and prize (or

bonus). After the selection, works exhibition will be held in Nanjing and othercities in Jiangsu. The prize-winners will be invited to attend the openingceremony and award ceremony of the exhibition and the works exhibition will beprinted.
