Please notice the exam discipline:

1. All students must carry their students’ ID cards or other valid identification to attend the exams

2. Except for the necessary stationaries, other articles must be placed collectively.

3. Students should be seated at the designated seats and place their students’ ID cards on the left top corner of the desks.

4. The means of communication, such as mobile phones, among others must be switched off and placed at the designated area. Any student that brings these gadgets to the exams hall does so at his or her own risk.

5. Students who violate or cheat for the first time will receive the punishment of probation.

6. Students caught seriously cheating for the first time or cheat for the second time shall be expelled from the University.

7. Students will receive no credit for courses they have been found cheating and shall be required to relearn the course.

8. Students who assist other students to cheat during exams shall receive the same punishment.

9. Students should enter the examination hall at least 5 minutes before exams start. Those who are late for more than 15 minutes after exams start will not be allowed to take the exams, which will also be deemed as absent from the exams. Students can hand in their test paper to the invigilator and leave the examination hall 30 minutes after the exam begins.

Those who break rules of examination aforementioned will be punished according to Jiangsu University Examination Implementation Details for Overseas Students.

1. The following actions shall be considered examination violation:

 Participating in the examination but not sitting at the designated place;

 Peeping, whispering and exchanging signals or gestures during the examination;

 Not leaving the examination hall after handing in the test paper, or making noise on the corridors of the examination hall;

 Leaving the examination hall without permission during the period of the examination;

 Taking test papers or answer scripts out of the examination hall

 Other violations in the examination hall identified by the university which does not constitute an act of cheating

2. The following actions shall be regarded as cheating:

 Exchange of books, notes and other relevant materials in an open book examination;

 Smuggling of notes, books or any exams related materials into the examination hall in a close book examination;

 Peeping, passing on slip of test paper;

 Writing related contents of examination on the desktop prior to the commencement of the exam;

 Identical answer scripts confirmed by the course teacher.

3. Students caught by any one of the followings shall be treated as severe cheating:

 Asking someone else to take the exam, or answer the test paper for another person；

 Alter the name of other’s test paper as yours；

 Exchange of test paper；

 Cheat with communication gadgets, such as mobile phones, programmable calculators and watches；

 Organize a partnership cheat
