1. Overseas students who hold humanitarian stay visa cannot apply for any kinds of visa in China, and must leave China before the expiry of humanitarian stay visa. Student can only apply for new residence permit after re-entering China, and must have a valid study program.

2. Overseas students must apply for new passport from embassy at least 6 months before the expiry of current passport. If student’s current passport will expire soon and new passport is still under processing, this student can only get humanitarian stay visa and must leave China before the expiry of the humanitarian stay visa. After re-entering China with new passport, student can apply for new residence permit if having valid study program.

3. Current year’s graduating students who has not passed HSK cannot apply for any kinds of visa, and this graduating students must leave China before the expiry of their residence permit/visa.
