The 2018 student association election cycle took place on the 31st of March. The associations involved included; IMSA, IBSA and AIES. The election process was overseen by the very capable and excited Electoral Commission。

Many candidates competing in the elections made appearances at the voting stations to cast their respective votes. Thereby indicating their genuine desire to secure the various positions they were competing for. There was a small show of passion at both polling stations over suspected indecency by a candidate. Nevertheless, the matter was handled by the Electoral Commission in a fair manner. The day ended with the Commission alerting passersby of the closing of the voting process.

In conclusion, the election can be considered a success as there was a very good voter turnout particularly for IMSA and IBSA. It was fair, organized and efficient. The Electoral Commission did a commendable job.
