The Academic Forum is an academically oriented program that seeks to consolidate students majoring in different fields of study through an exchange of knowledge and perspectives.

The first edition, running under the theme Advancing in Knowledge, Cultivating Excellence, will comprise of a quiz and speech challenge and open discussions on various topics of concern for scholars. The event will be held on 29 April 2017, everyone who is enthusiastic to take that extra step towards being an excellent learner of social value is welcome to attend.

A CALL FOR ACADEMIC FORUM QUIZ AND SPEECH CHALLENGE CONTESTANTS

The categories of the screening of registered participants will be as follows, with questions relevant to all participants:

- Health and Medical (MBBS, Pharmacy)

- Engineering Science and Technology ( Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer science)

- Business Finance and Management (IET, BBA, Accounting)

Screening will be in the form of a short written test and five students will qualify from each category, to field the 5 teams to contest on the final day.

The final quiz will have questions from the above mentioned categories, inclusive of general knowledge.

The speech contest will be impromptu speeches on unprepared topics related to the speakers' fields of study.

Speakers will come from the qualifiers of the screening test.
