SOCIETY OF AGRICULTURAL MECHANIZATION (SAM-JSU) is a student association in Jiangsu University with the aim of facilitating food security in countries involved in the One Belt, One Road initiative through Agricultural Mechanization and Agribusiness. We collaborate with Jiangsu University, government bodies, industry leaders and other businesses to promote sustainable food production and agribusiness through agricultural skill development and mechanization. In pursuing our duties as s society, we uphold transparency, honesty, integrity and professionalism.

Jiangsu University started out as an agricultural institute back in 1902. With the collaboration of the university and other corporate bodies, this society also aims to promote that agricultural heritage.

We kindly invite all interested students and other stakeholders to join hands in enhancing food security.

Our vision is to establish agricultural mechanization centers and agribusinesses in all the countries which are part of the One Belt, One Road initiative.

AIM

The purpose of SAM-JSU is to facilitate the collaboration among governments, universities, industries and farmers in order to enhance food security through agricultural mechanization and agribusiness.

OBJECTIVES

1. To strengthen the relationship between universities and businesses involved in agricultural mechanization and agribusiness

2. To facilitate the creation of agricultural mechanization centers and allocation of farming machinery to farmers

3. To facilitate training and development of skills in agriculture mechanization and agribusiness

4. To promote the agricultural heritage of Jiangsu University
