Basic requirements of applicants:

1. Full-time student of Jiangsu University (exclusive of freshmen)

2. Good moral characters and activeness

3. Passion for China and Chinese culture

4. Excellent academic record (winner of 2nd-class excellence scholarship or above)

5. Active participation of intramural and social activity

6. Free of punishments, criminal records and unblemished history

Procedures of selection:

1. Registration:

Applicants should complete the application form and submit it to OEC students’ affairs office BEFORE 5:00pm March 24, 2017.

2. Qualification examination: (March 25 – March 28)

JSU Committee will exam applicants’ qualification. Those whose material is incomplete or disqualified will be moved from the list.

3. Excellent 100 student selection:

a. Preliminary review: (March 29 – March 30)

JSU committee will take a preliminary selection of top 100 students from all applicants.

b. Final selection: (March 31 – April 10)

According to the result of preliminary review, JSU committee will broadcast these 100 students’ profiles on JSU WeChat platform and run a online voting.

4. Top 10 student selection:

a. Preliminary review: (April 11– April 13)

JSU committee will take a preliminary selection of top 20 students from Top 100 student.

b. Publicity: (April 14– April 16)

3-day publicity of 20 candidates through

c. Voting online: (April 17– April 19)

Voting online on JSU Wechat platform.

d. Final selection: (Before April 2)

According to the result of preliminary review and online voting, JSU committee will broadcast these 100 students’ cases after final review. The final review will include introducing yourself (PPT) and answering some questions.
