1. Purpose and Objective of the Training

The "Belt and Road" International Talent College aims to deepen the training project of international elite talents of Jiangsu University, promote educational exchanges and cooperation with countries along the "Belt and Road" and other partners, and cultivate a group of international talents and alumni who are familiar with Chinese culture, identify with Chinese values, have excellent professional ability and innovative spirit. To promote the integration of multiple cultures, enhance our university's international influence and competitiveness.

2. Benefits of the Training

a. The course learning of the training is mainly in the form of classroom teaching and lecture project system, which helps the trainees improve their comprehensive quality in five aspects: critical thinking ability, leadership ability, data analysis ability, innovation ability, and global competence.

b. The college organizes students to participate in various practical activities such as cultural and sports, volunteer service, enterprise training etc. aiming to improve the quality of students comprehensively.

c. Students who complete all courses including practical skills and pass the assessment can graduate and obtain the honorary graduation certificate and Transcript of the "Belt and Road" International Talent College of Jiangsu University.

3. Criteria For Selection

Applicants should meet the following conditions:

a. Have a good attitude towards Chinese laws and cultural values, actively participating in campus cultural activities, social practice volunteer services, and other practical activities.

b. Have good physical and mental health, a strong sense of responsibility, and an excellent sense of team cooperation.

c. Candidates with HSK level 4 will receive priority.

d. Excellent academic performance, no failed record. Priority is given to national scholarships, school scholarships, and any other honorary certificate.

e. Those who win prizes in relevant discipline competitions, have good scientific literacy, or have expertise in sports and art are preferred.

4. Selection Processa.

a. ApplicationInterested students should fill in the application form by scanning the QR code below.

b. Application auditAccording to the selection criteria of applicant qualification, class teacher shall audit the electronic application form.

c. InterviewIn strict accordance with the policy of "selecting the best among the best," the college shall conduct a comprehensive interview of all the applicants. 

d. The interview time and place will be announced later.d. Admission into the training programBased on the comprehensive interview, the college will admit 40 students (20 bachelor's and 20 masters & PhD) for training.

5. Detail of The Training Programa.

a. Course Learning

The course learning of "Belt and Road" International Talent College is mainly in two forms: classroom teaching and lecture project system. This will help the trainees improve their comprehensive quality in five aspects: critical thinking ability, leadership ability, data analysis ability, innovation ability, and global competence.

b. Practical Training

The "Belt and Road" International Talent College will organize students to participate in various sports, volunteer services, enterprise training, and other practical activities, aiming to improve the quality of students comprehensively.

c. Assessment and Evaluation

The courses will be assessed by the "Belt and Road" International Talent College based on test scores, course attendance, classroom participation, seminars, exchanges, etc., and one who fails is not allowed to get the completion certificate.

6. Participation Fee

The cost of the training is FREE.

7. Registration Process

a. The application is open from October 23rd (start) to October 30th (Please scan the QR code before October 30th, 17:00pm)

b. Interview: November 1st

c. Announcement of shortlisted candidates: October 31st
