JSU's Most Talented is one of most awaited JSU stage shows of the year. With amazing performances by Chinese and foreign students and mind-blowing stage effects, JSU's Most talented is indeed a spectacular eyes-candy for all.

An additional 20% Bonus points for teams with both Chinese and foreign students together.

1. Registration

* All students of JSU can apply for the competition.

* Students compete in any talents including singing, dancing, mime, comedy, magic, painting, music, drama, opera, martial arts, mimicry, calligraphy etc.

* Applications end by Oct. 20th and the organizers will evaluate and shortlist the entries for the auditions. The name list and the token numbers will be published online on Oct. 22nd.

* Finalists of previous JSU's Most Talented and finalists of various university level arts competitions can apply to participate in Semi-finals directly. BUT NEED TO MAKE THE REGISTRATION -- Specify in application.

* In principle, all teams in semi-finals and finals must include both Chinese and foreign students.

2. Auditions

* Submit the music required to the organizers by Oct. 24th.

* Performance should not exceed 2 mins.

* Costumes and instruments etc. should be arranged by the contestants.

* Top 20-30 contestants will be chosen to enter Semi-finals (Results will be published on Oct. 28th), however, some contestants shall be asked to combine with others for continuing to Semi finals.

3. Semi-Finals

* Submit the background music required to the organizers by Nov. 7th.

* Performance should not exceed 3 mins.

* Costumes and instruments etc. should be arranged by the contestants.

* Top 3-5 contestants from semi-finals can enter finals directly.

* Other best contestants will be clubbed into new teams for better competition results. Contestants who agree to collaborate should respond within two working days after the results are released.

4. Finals

* Each team will be arranged with a director/professional mentor.

* Time duration for the performance should not exceed 5 mins.

* Contestants should apply a list of things (instruments, material etc.) required for the performance.

* Simple Costumes and basic make-up for the finals will be provided by the organizers.

* All contestants (teams) will join the photoshoot and videoshoot on Nov. 21st.

* Voting (on OEC WeChat) for“Most popular contestant” will begin on Nov. 25th and poll ends on Nov. 30th. All contestants (teams) for finals will be part of the poll and the winners will be awarded at the finals.

* Music for the performance should be submitted by Nov. 25th. Music cannot be updated later on.

* All teams should attend all practice sessions from first look until 2nd rehearsals.

* To keep the competition fair, all special effects and light effect shall be controlled and designed by stage company. Teams shall not involve in guiding or demanding any such designs.

5. SCORING CRITERIA

* Teams with both Chinese and Foreign students will have 20% bonus point.

* Scores for on-site votes: Highest votes: 10 points, 2nd highest: 9.8 points, 3rd highest: 9.6 points…….. 10th highest: 8.2 points.* Only audience can vote during “On-site Voting”.* Champions and Peoples’ Choice Award winners will not get other awards and the second/third highest of each category will take the prizes of respective categories.
