Instructions for Registration

I. To enter the university, JSU alumni are required to show their alumni card. To obtain your alumni E-card and ensure a smooth entry into the university, please follow the provided registration guidelines.

II. If you have applied for an alumni card before, you have the option to collect and activate it online using your ID number by following the updated 2023 version of the electronic alumni card activation process. In case you don't have the information for your new card, you can apply for a new one by following the steps below. Moreover, you can also apply for entry into the university through the visitor system while waiting for your new card to be approved. III. The main process of registering a new card

1. Registration. Please click the "Register" button on this link (https://h5.sosho.cn/user/login.html) and follow the prompts to fill in the registration information. (Due to the needs of the real-name system, you need to fill in your ID number) if the system shows that the registration has stopped, it means the background is reviewing everyone's information, suspend the new application, and we will continue to open the registration button after the review is completed.

2. Audit. Every Thursday afternoon (except for winter and summer vacations), the school conducts a centralized review of the authenticity and completeness of the information of registered alumni before noon and will receive a text message from the system regardless of whether the review is passed or not.

3. Card issuance. After the school uploads the approved application information to the system, each applicant will be provided with an exclusive 10-digit E-card number starting with the number (8).

4. Card Activation

(1) After completing the review, the university will notify the applicants by SMS or phone, and the applicants who received the SMS can refer to the 2023 version of the electronic alumni card activation guide at (https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/e18Z69CBzVCPW-U_qHBejQ) on the next day to use their ID number to activate the card.

(2) After receiving and activating the WeChat alumni card, you can bind the card with Jiangsu University's Wechat official account - Service - My Alumni Card.

5. Precautions

(1) The new version of the WeChat alumni card is a real-name virtual card, which authenticates your true identity as an alumnus of Jiangsu University, and implements strict correspondence of one person, one code, one identity (teachers and students of Jiangsu University, medical staff, employees, faculty and staff families of affiliated hospitals, and on-campus business service personnel cannot receive the card repeatedly), and has campus access (you need to cooperate with the use of ID card, if you have not had time to get the card before entering the university, please use the visitor system via this link: (how to enter the school through the visitor system), The card is used to access the canteen, library facility and digital resource and campus shuttle bus services.

(2) There is no fee for obtaining the alumni E-card for first-time applicants. The card is valid for two (2) years which can be extended after expiration.
