Dear students,

Winter vacation of 2024 will begin from Jan. 20th, 2024 and classes of next academic semester begin from Feb. 26th, 2024. Students who return home or travel to cities of China duing the vacations should return to campus before Feb. 25th. We wish you all a safe and happy vacation. Please make required arrangements for your vacation and apply through your class teachers if you have any travel plans to leave Zhenjiang.

The following post is a compilation of on-campus services & OEC services during the vacation. For your convenience, please take note of all these infomation and save this post for future use.

SERVICES & TIMINGS

CANTEENS

Canteen 1: Normal Operations

Canteen 3: Operates until Jan. 31st

All other canteens will suspend operations during the vacations.

All canteens on campus resume operations from Feb. 22nd

CAMPUS CARD RECHARGE

Cash recharges are stopped during the vacation.

However, students can recharge campus cards through kiosks available in dorm reception as usual or also through JSU enterprise account.

CAMPUS BUS

Campus bus will not operate from Jan. 22nd and will resume from Feb. 22nd.

CAMPUS LIBRARY

For reading:

1st floor reading rooms will be open on all weekdays

Timings: 08:30-11:30; 14:30-17:00

For borrowing books:

Every Tuesdays: 08:30-11:30; 14:30-17:00

CAMPUS CLINIC

Everyday: 08:00-11:30; 14:00--17:30

Emergency Department: 24hrs

CAMPUS GATES

Xuefu Road Gate 1, 2 and Guyang Road Gate 1 (Jing Gate) will be open and be managed as per campus regulations.

COURIERS & SHOPS

For collection/post of your parcels:

B区 Kuadi Store：

Everyday 9:00-17:00

Supermarket @ Canteen 6:

Operates from 9:30 to 21:30 until Jan. 29th and resumes normal operations from Feb. 17th

Supermarket @ B Block:

Everyday 8:00-23:00

Bike Repair shops at F, C and Sanshan Building:

Everyday 9:00-17:00

RESIDENCE PERMIT

For students whose residence permits expire during vacation:

Timings: Jan. 26th & 29th (9am to 11am; 2:30pm to 4:30pm)

REMEMBER TO CLEAR ALL FEE AND REGISTER RESIDENCE INFORMATION BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR RESIDENCE PERMIT AT OEC. Please note that you will take own responsiblity if your visa expires.

PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH COUNSELLING

Students who face problems like depression, culture shock, anxiety or other mental health issues are requested to contact their class teacher. We will guide you accordingly and help you maintain a healthy study atmosphere.

Also, students can make apply for free professional online counselling
