Register for 2023 JSU's Most Talented

The Closing Event for 13th Jiangsu University International Culture Festival

JSU's Most Talented is one of most awaited JSU stage shows of the year. With amazing performances by Chinese and foreign students and mind-blowing stage effects, JSU's Most talented is indeed a spectacular eyes-candy for all.

Auditions:2023.11.18

Semi-Finals:2023.11.25

Grand Finale:2023.12.09

20% Bonus points for teams with Chinese and foreign students together.

COMPETITION RULES

1. Applications: 

* All students of JSU can apply for the competition.

* Students compete in any talents including singing, dancing, mime, comedy, magic, painting, music, drama, opera, martial arts, mimicry, calligraphy etc.

* Applications end by Nov. 13th and the organizers will evaluate and shortlist the entries for the auditions. The name list and the token numbers will be published online on Nov. 14th.

* Finalists of previous JSU's Most Talented and finalists of various university level arts competitions can apply to participate in Semi-finals directly. Specify in application.

2. Auditions:

* Submit the music required to the organizers by Nov. 16th.

* Performance should not exceed 2 mins. 

* Costumes and instruments etc. should be arranged by the contestants.

* Top 20 contestants will be chosen to enter Semi-finals (Results will be published on Nov. 19th), however, some contestants shall be asked to combine with others for continuing to Semi finals.

3. Semi Finals:

* Submit the background music required to the organizers by Nov. 24th. 

* Performance should not exceed 3 mins. 

* Costumes and instruments etc. should be arranged by the contestants.

* Top 3-5 contestants from semi-finals can enter finals directly.

* Other best contestants will be clubbed into new teams for better competition results. Contestants who agree to collaborate should respond within two working days after the results are released.

4. Finals:

* Each team will be arranged with a director/professional mentor.

* Time duration for the performance should not exceed 5 min.

* Contestants should apply a list of things (instruments, material etc.) required for the performance.

* Costumes and make-up for the finals will be provided by the organizers.

* All contestants (teams) will join the photoshoot and videoshoot on Nov. 30th.

* Voting (on OEC WeChat) for “Most popular contestant”will begin on Dec 2nd and poll ends on Dec. 8th. All contestants (teams) for finals will be part of the poll and the winners will be awarded at the finals.

* Music for the performance should be submitted by Dec. 6th. Music cannot be updated later on. 

* Rehearsal will be held on Dec. 8th (18:00 at JSU Auditorium) and final rehearsal will be held on Dec. 9th (09:00 - 15:00 at JSU Auditorium).
