To all students it may concern:

Registration for General Knowledge Selective Courses of 2022-2023-2 semester will be carried out from February 11th, 2023 to February 26th, 2023 (Beijing time). Due attention should be paid to the following points:

I. Only General Knowledge Selective Courses are within the coverage of above-mentioned course-selecting. The rest of the courses do not fall within the scope of this notice. Courses that students have already got the credits are not allowed to be selected once again. Please be noted that once chosen, selective courses cannot be modified anymore. So please take a second thought before making final decisions. Anyone who fails to register within the prescribed time will be deemed as an automatic waiver. Each student from grade 2019 ,2020 and 2021 must obtain the required credits of General Knowledge for the education arrangement before graduation (at least 4 credits), which is to be explained by the academic colleges. Each student can only choose 2 courses each semester.

II. Participants of the course-selecting are confined to all international undergraduates whose courses of their majors are instructed in English .

III. Selective courses shall be registered from February 11th, 2023 to February 26th, 2023 (Beijing time).

IV. To ensure the efficiency of course selection, please visit the website through campus network if possible.

V. The detailed information of the available General Selective Courses will be released in the following attachment.

Note:

1. The final score will cover the attendance performance. Those who fail to take the final exam will get 0 for the selective course.

2. If there are less than 10 students enrolling, the course won’t be arranged.

3. No fees will be charged for the selective courses.

Step 1: enter the OEC’s homepage: https://oec.ujs.edu.cn/en.htm

At the bottom of the page, find and click into the undergraduate academic system.

Step 2: enter the student ID and your password in the login interface and log in.

Step 3: On the left side of the page click “course selection”.

Step4: click the last item “General Electives”.

Step 5: click “pre-selection”.

Step 6: Do as the picture shows, choose “Time for Class” and click “search “button.

Step 7: Find and select the courses you are interested. You can choose only two course for each semester.

Step 8: At the bottom of the page, click “submit selected”.

Then, you can check what you have selected.
