Notice on New Year Holiday Arrangement

Dear students,

As Jiangsu University's arrangements, Dec. 31st, 2022 to Jan. 2nd, 2023 (a total of three days) are confirmed as New Year Holidays, all classes on these three days are suspended. All students are encouraged to maintain personal health precautions, safety an minimise your exposure to the omicron virus.

Teaching & Exams:

1. All classes have been changed to online mode.

2. All exams for this semester will be conducted online.

3. All practical works and lab teachings are postponed to next semester (if such works cannot be done online this semester).

Leaving the University or city:

1. If any student who wants to visit his/her family or friends in other cities can apply through class teacher. The applications are open and students can leave campus/Zhenjiang from anytime starting from now. We remind students to plan your academic schedule accordingly.

2. Please timely report and get approval through class teacher if you are travelling to other cities or if you wish to return to Zhenjiang.

3. All students who return to Zhenjiang from other cities should communicate with class teacher to follow the local policies as applicable.

Personal Health:

1. Health precautions and self-management of health are your own responsibility. We advise students to wear masks in public places and sanitize your hands frequently.

2. For your safety, please avoid unnecessary gatherings.

3. Always monitor your health with care and report to your class teacher if you face flu-like symptoms. The university will provide the best guidance and attention you need.

Fever Medication:

For your convenience stay on-campus during the vacation, Jiangsu University has arrange a health help desk at the 3rd floor of the West Entrance of campus hospital.

In view of this, students who experience fever should wear masks and ring the bell to get temperature checked as well as collect fever medication.

NOTE: Working hours is everyday (24/7).

We request all students to take good precautions and monitor your health. If you experience flu like symptoms, plz contact your class teacher immediately. Thank you.
