Seventh Sino-Foreign Postgraduate Academic Sub Forum: School of Management & Finance

THEME: Transition and Sustainable Development of Chinese Family Enterprises: A Big Bata Perspective

As part of the 7th Sino-foreign Postgraduate Academic forum of Jiangsu University, the schools of Management and Finance held their forum at the No.3 Auditorium of the Conference Centre, on the 29th November, 2017. The forum was held between the hours of 14:00 and 17:50 and has recorded an unprecedented high turnout of both students and faculty members.

High profile personalities at the forum were Prof. WU Mengyun, who doubled as the invited guest and a judge, Prof. Yao Hong Xing (Vice Dean, School of Finance & Economics), Prof. Jiang Xinying, and Ass. Prof. Lv Bin all serving as judges.

Prof. WU Menyun delivered her keynote presentation on the theme for the sub forum with a hypothetical question, “What is the difference between Western and Chinese Societies”. She drew some lines on major component such as culture and belief, education and interests. After the invited guest’s speech, participants were also allowed to make their various oral presentation within 10 minutes. Chronologically this is how the show went with each participant and his/her title for Presentation:

1. Yin Yuxiao: Study on the Influential Factors of University Teachers’ Entrepreneurial Intensions.

2. Muhammed Imran: Company Fundamentals as Determinants of Firm Level Equity Premium: Evidence from Pakistan.

3. Yang Hua: Relationship Between Staff Competency and Performance in Chinese Manufacturing Enterprises Under Servitization Transformation: Based on Comparison Among Different Human Resources Management Modes.

4. Wang Qiwei: Analysis of Managing Safety in Small enterprises: employees’ Pro-social Safety Behavior Through the Safety Inspection of the Government.

5.Kofi Baah Boamah: The Casual Effect of Energy Consumption and International Trade on the Environment of Ghana.

6.Nyarko Felix Kwame: Corporate Governance and Performance of Firms: An Empirical Evidence from the Banking Sector of Ghana.

7.Zhao Xinlei: The Study on “Carpooling” Behavior in “Internet +” Era – Based on Multiple Correspondence Analysis.

8.Zhu Xinlang: Research on the Mechanism of Industrial Agglomeration to Carbon Intensity in Perspective of Government Intervention.

9.Jiang Pingjing: Incentive Mechanism of Hybrid Offerings Generation Based on Multi – task Principle – agent Model.

10.Wang Yuting: Study on Development of Sharing Economy Based on Principal Component Analysis.

11.Li Hui: Research on Factors Affecting Customer Acceptance of Online Supermarket Based on Campus 020 E-commerce.

12.Oswin Aganda Anaba: Evaluation of technology Innovation efficiency in Patent – intensive industries: taking Chinese manufacturing Industry as an example.

Questions were asked by audience after every oral presentation.

Best Presentation Awards : Mr. Nyarko Felix Kwame was crowned with the first prize, Imran Muhammed (Second Prize), Kofi Baah Boamah (third prize) and Yin Yuxiao the (fourth prize).
