On the 3rd of March, the spring intake campus tour officially took place. The campus tour, among numerous other activities such as freshmen registration and airport pickup service, are activities organized by the hand in hand association with the aid of its volunteers. New students are shown around the campus from classes, library, canteen, old library, overseas apartments, campus supermarkets and so on.

Students gathered at the overseas education college, and using this as a starting point for the campus tour. The route went from the OEC to one of the most academically important buildings, the school library (showing them where to get books for their majors, where and how to borrow books, as well as where to get refreshments after a long study).

After that, they were taken to the other locations in the school. Some of the places they were taken to were, the school of medicine and pharmacy, the dormitories for international students, mobile service centers, package shipping centers, and the Muslim, international and Chinese canteens. Throughout the tour, beneficial Tips from experiences were also shared by the volunteers to the new students.

Finally, the journey ended with the visit to the museum, where the volunteers briefed them on the history of Jiangsu university, the successful alumnus, projects participated in and awards won by Jiangsu University. The freshmen also saw pictures, calligraphy, books, biographies as well as various other things that had played a crucial role in the school’s history.

We hope the campus tour was a beneficial experience for everyone that participated, and we also welcome all the new students once again to Jiangsu University,
