October 13th 2018, saw PG Academic Club organize Training for OECians on Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). At a time when the amount and availability of data is exploding, PG Academic Club SPSS training was to harness OECian’s unique data flow to uncover new insights with SPSS Analytic solutions.

Instructors prepared students for the volume and velocity of business-critical information with a series of real-world scenarios and exercises ─ helping students take full advantage of your SPSS big data and cognitive systems. Important areas covered during the training include:

1. Descriptive statistics (frequencies, Descriptive, Explore data)

2. Compare means (Means, Normality tests, One sample t test, Independent samples T test, Paired samples T test, One-way ANOVA)

3. Correlation & Regression (Correlation, Regression analysis including: Linear, Enter method, Stepwise method and Two stage least square) and

4. Reliability tests & Dimension Reduction (Cronbach’s Alpha Test, Factor analysis)
