OECians Had a Sportsful Holiday | National Day Tournaments

ISSA made the National Holidays energetic and sports full by organizing several events each day! The events were helpful in increasing the interaction of freshmen and seniors and also to find the fresh potential talents that have come to OEC this year!

Football

Oct. 1st - Oct. 3rd

Social Sciences were the overall winners with 9 points out of 3 matches. The 1st runners up were Engineering One with 6 points after 3 matches, the 2nd runners up were Engineering Two with 3 points after 3 matches and the fourth was Medicine with no points after 3 matches.

Mr. Chuulu from Engineering One won the best goal keeper with the least goals conceded, Mr. Obeng from Engineering One won the golden boot award with the highest goal scored, Mr. Altigani Saeed from Engineering Two won the most valuable player (best player of the league) award. The best coach of the league went to Mr. Wadamba from Social Sciences for winning the league. Mr. Forthan Umba from Engineering Two won the Fair Play coach of the league.

Beach Volleyball

Oct. 1st

Beach volleyball freshmen fought hard to sustain in the tournament but the experience triumphs and so the seniors made it to the further parts of the tournament.

It kick started with 20 boys and 15 girls, out of which 10 senior boys and 10 freshmen boys and 7 senior girls and 8 freshmen girls . It was a treat to watch how talented the freshmen of this year are and also how the seniors supported them!

Where Desy gave a good performance but Riya won continuous 2 sets and got the Gold medal!

Cricket

Oct. 3rd

The opening match - MIX UP XI vs FRESHERS . FRESHERS team dominates MIX UP XI and finally won the match breaking a lot of perceptions. Next match- INDIAN XI lead by Captain Om Patidar and MIX UP XI, here too nothing goes towards MIX UP XI and they lost their 2nd match too. But Huzaifa team (MIX UP XI) was played really well game.

Table Tennis

Oct. 5th

The LOOP MACHINES of OEC welcomed all freshmen during the Golden sports week with a tournament held on Friday 5th of October, 2018 at the school gym under the supervision of Vice Dean Ms Cai and our indefatigable Laoshi Ms Sun.

The tournament started at exactly 3:15 pm with warm ups and test drives from all freshmen and some senior men as well.

Ms Cai, talked to all participants and encouraged us all to be hardworking not only in class or the gym but in all our endeavours.
