Organized by the CPC of Jiangsu Province, the cultural department of Jiangsu province, the association of literature and art, the people's government of Zhenjiang, the propaganda department of the communist party of Zhenjiang, culture, and the radio and television news and publication association of Zhenjiang, an activity named“A Better New Era, Happy Zhenjiang People -- celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening to the theatrical performances and 2018 Zijin Square Cultural Art Festival" was held at the North Entrance of Nanshan Mountain in the afternoon of October 13th. Nearly 1,000 representatives from all walks of life and about 800 actors gathered there to celebrate the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up.

In total, 19 students of Jiangsu University, who come from India, Russia, Pakistan, Vietnam, Ghana, Cuba, Costa Rica, Zimbabwe and other countries, took part in this activity. They performed their local dances with their local costumes to celebrate the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up.

The foreign students' performances are innovatively arranged with the Qipao Show of the teachers of Jiangsu University. It combines the beauty of both Chinese and foreign classical culture. Their performance gave the audience a wonderful scene of multicultural integration, and won applause and applause from the audience.
