OECians Win 1st & 2nd in "13th Top 10 PG Singers

Encouraged and supported by renowned experts, experienced coaches and mentors JSU PG singers realize their dream of a vocal future when October 28 saw two overseas students from the OEC Diversity Club - DJOMO KENZO and LAURENT MWILYE LUKAVU took part in the 13th Top ten PG Singers competition organized by JSU PG school and JSU communist Youth League. DJOMO KENZO from Cameroon, a PHD student from the school of Mechanical Engineering and LAURENT MWILYE LUKAVU, student in International Economy and Trade joined the competition.

The two OECians faced other 22 Chinese students in the Final of the 2018 Top ten PG Singers competition. The took rounds of two with the OECians performing together in the first round and coming first within that round.

The final round then saw individual performances with DJOMO KENZO winning first position and LAURENT MWILYE LUKAVU placing 2nd.

The occasion which was witnessed a springboard and renowned platform for exceptionally talented next-generation singers. These OECians got a green ticket to compete in 2018 JSU “Jiangpai” Singing Competition.
