Literary and Art Performance which was organized by Zhenjiang Govts. and associations was held on October 13th 2018. The event which was themed “A Better New Era, Happy Zhenjiang People" was to commemorate the 40th anniversary of reform and opening with theatrical performances at Nanshan Park.

Nearly 1,000 representatives and audience and about 800 actors gathered to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening up.

Jiangsu University represented by OECians presented a total of 19 students - India, Russia, Pakistan, Vietnam, Ghana, Cuba, Costa Rica, Zimbabwe and other countries. The OECians performed local dance and cultural displays in rich traditional costumes.

The performance from the OECians were innovatively arranged with a special ‘Qipao’ which showcased the teachers of Jiangsu University. This design combined the beauty of both Chinese and foreign classical culture with performance giving audience a wonderful scene of multicultural integration.
