On April 25, 2019, the interview of "A&W Scholarship" for the second semester of 2018-2019 academic year was held successfully in the conference room of Overseas Education College. 27 students from India, Pakistan, Ghana and other countries participated in it, and 20 students finally stood out and won the scholarship. Ji Kangyi, director of JSU finance department, Wang Yuzhong, deputy director of the publicity department of the party committee, Wang Changda, vice dean of the graduate school, Zhang Wenjuan, deputy secretary of the communist youth league committee of the university, and Cai Zhaohui, vice dean of overseas education college served as the interviewers.

The interview officially began at 9:00 a.m., and the order will be determined by drawing lots randomly. The interview time for each candidate is 3 minutes, including self-introduction and answering questions. During the interview, foreign students introduce their performance and achievements in English and Chinese. During the question-and-answer session, the judges were deeply impressed by the sincere emotion and rich life experience of the overseas students.

“A&W Scholarship” aims to cultivate overseas students who understand China, and love China, motivate outstanding overseas students in China and subsidize poor students with excellent character and learning, and at the same time vigorously publicize Chinese enterprise culture, to attract more outstanding overseas graduates to join Chinese enterprises.
