One of the greatest quests in life has to do with finding the right path towards one’s choice of career. Everyone has the dream of becoming great in a career of preference. Medical students are no exception. In a vast field such as Medicine, medical students are caught at the crossroads contemplating on which specific aspect of Medicine they would wish to further in and also which path to take towards it.

“A wise person is one who learns not only from his mistakes but also from others’.” Saturday the 20th of April gave all medical students a platform to gain knowledge from Dr. Chirag Kukadiya.MD. and Dr. Ankur Garg.MD, the guest speakers for the day.

To kickstart, Prof. Gao Jing, Dean of OEC offered words of wisdom as a way of opening the event. The seminar commenced and mainly focused on how one can succeed when taking the UK medical pathway. Those who attended were familiarized with the do’s and don’ts during patient-doctor interaction as well as questions they are likely to encounter whilst taking the PLAB exam.

Special gratitude goes to IMSA and Overseas Educational College for granting future medical doctors the opportunity to learn from those who have already made it. On top of that, not forgetting the students who attended this event in turn making it a success.
