On 19th April 2019, the International Business Students (IBSA) in collaboration with the Belt and Road International Talents College and the Overseas Education College (OEC) of Jiangsu University organized the Whale Cloud Company campus recruitment and job fair. The interesting program was attended by 45 students and started at 2pm prompt. The representatives from the company were Cai Zhen Martin and Li Haiyan-Linda (both Human Resource Managers).

The company’s representatives clearly explained the history, mission and vision statement of the company which enabled the audience to know more about Whale Cloud. It is an information technology company with its headquarters in Nanjing. The Company was established in 2003 and became a part of a very famous Chinese Company, the Alibaba Group and currently offers its services to other telecommunication companies around the world like Econet, MTN, Cell ©, Telenor, Star Hub, Post Telecom, KPN, China Unicom, China Telecom, China Mobile, Idea, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and Vodafone among many others. The Company expanded its operations and currently offering their products and Services in more than 80 countries around the world.

Jiangsu University is fortunate enough to be recognized by the company for the 20 job positions available together with other few selected universities. An appreciative response was seen from the students who showed up to show their capabilities and talent to the company.

The positions are open to students with backgrounds in marketing, business, computer science, electronics engineering or others. For this purpose, a 45-minute written exam was held, which marked the 1st stage of the recruitment process. The international students gave their best throughout the exam.

We would like to wish them the best of luck and after the announcement of the successful applicants, the company will move to the next and final stage of the recruitment process.
