The jewels influencer spotlight was organized by the jewels club of Jiangsu University. Set on 11th may 2019, the event was meant to provide a platform for student influencers/achievers to impart some of their wisdom to the attendees.

Ms. Sabrina gave a speech on “how to succeed in extracurricular activities without sacrificing academic excellence”. Her advice centered on the effective use of free time whiles focusing on passions.

Mr. Tinashe Gakaka gave a speech which focused on certain useful laws you can live your life by to achieve your goals. His laws included the law of persistency, the law of networking, the law of curiosity and the law of modelling which says to ask yourself who is on your path? Who has already walked it and who is there already? And ask them for advice on how they did it.

Ms. Natalie, one of the founding members of the jewels club , who was introduced with aplomb, gave a speech on staying in your ‘bag’ , which means what you want more in life and your personal definition of it and going on to secure your bag. At the end of her speech, she was asked how she achieved all she had with her doubters. She said you have to keep going and never give up because no one in the world really cares as much as you think.
