Universal Hand-In-Hand Association and Discover Initiative were proud to have presented an entertaining, yet inspiring movie night during the Mayday holidays.

The movie, entitled LIONHEART which was showed at the Graduate School Building (OEC), classroom 117 at 18.00 was attended by more than 40 students and other staff, and considered a great success.

Lionheart is a 2018 Nigerian drama film produced by Chinny Onwugbenu and directed by Genevieve Nnaji. It stars Pete Edochie, Genevieve Nnaji, and Nkem Owoh. It was acquired by Netflix on the 7th of September 2018, making it the first Netflix original film produced in Nigeria. The event started around 6pm with a short video clip on Women Empowerment on a global scale followed by the Welcome and Announcements by Gabriela.

Popcorns and drinks were provided for refreshment, and as a part of fund raising, key chains and wrist bands were also sold during the movie night. Academic cards were also stamped for audience.

By 20:30, the show had come to an end with a vote of thanks by the Hand in Hand Vice President Roy.. Volunteers with the organizers put the place back to its state, and had a short discussion about suggestions and reviews regarding the event, looking forward to a better one.A big thank you to all who engaged or play roles in making the night a great success.
