The meeting commenced after the grand opening ceremony of the Jiangsu University 9th International Cultural Festival (ICF). Around 75 overseas undergraduates and post graduate students from all academic disciplines despite the busy schedules attended. Representatives of  11 Chinese enterprises interacted with the students with the aim to introduce what their organizations offer (vision of their organization), the skills and talents they are searching for among potential applicants, their expectations and also what they will offer prospective hires.. 

Each organization had the opportunity to showcase their company using PPTs, videos, and pictures of their achievement, products and services. The enterprises showed much interest in the international students and they also shared their individual success stories they had by working with students either as interns or employees in their home countries.

Before the program ended officially, an opportunity for students to ask questions was given, International students asked diverse questions in which the enterprises with the assistance of Dr. Cui responded to all the questions. One advice that was commonly shared by all the presenters was that students need at least some basic skills in Chinese so that they can relate with fellow workers and also easily fit into the Chinese working environment. 

A group picture was taken soon after the official closing of the meeting, and also, the enterprises had some time to interact with individual students and thus the students had the time to seek for further clarification, at the same time exchanging contact details.
