The Medical Clerkship is annually organised by IMSA in order to aid the medical students to acquire medical knowledge through clinical practice; for those who stayed on campus and of those who have travelled.

This year's summer clerkship for those staying on campus was organised at the No.1 Hospital (Kangfu Yi Yuan). It commenced from the 12th of August to 23rd of August, 2019. With a number of 16 registered medical students, hospital ID cards were prepared, with instructions, guidelines and a timetable as the students were divided into groups of 2 to maximise their experience within the limited time.

    With determination and the keen to learn, the clerking students embarked reaching the hospital early morning before 8am to cover the morning rounds.

    Throughout they learned to assess patients and analyse cases, observe surgical procedures, manage conditions and practice a few objective skills.
