New beginnings are in order, and we are bound to feel some level of exhilaration as new chances come our way. This is what energized Zhenjiang Foreign Affairs (Zhenjiang FAO) to organize this End of Year Reception for JSU OECians.

Thursday 26th December, 2019 as registered students for the event were led by OEC staff members; Ms. Cai Zhaohui (OEC Vice Dean), Ms. Gao Shuting, Mr. Liang Weisong, Ms. Cao Siyu, and Ms. Yuan Chuchu at Suning Hyatt Hotel. The Zhenjiang Foreign Affair (Zhenjiang FAO) entourage warmly welcomed JSU students.

The host officials (Zhenjiang FAO) encompassed from diverse units presented the audience with a heartfelt end of year memorandum. Highlights of occurrences and activities of the city (Zhenjiang) within year 2019 were shared. It gave a virtuous imprint and thoughts of the real many prospects and exertions of the city. Mr. Wei Hongyang (Director General of Zhenjiang FAO) and Ms. Cai Zhaohui (Vice Dean of OEC, JSU) further gave their earnest speeches.

At this juncture, the end of year get-together sparked with variety of games including, musical chairs, brainstorming competition, instruction & follow as well as the lucky one. Each and every one participated in these thrilling games with full of euphoria. Others also performed in a grand style by means of singing and dancing out of pleasure.

All overseas JSU students who took part in this warm reception, really felt at home on this memorable day. They also witnessed the marks left by the historical changes and realized the pulse of the times and destiny of Zhenjiang City - Jiangsu Province. The students further unveiled that, this event really gave them a wide range of experience by understanding Zhenjiang - China to be a worth place of living.

We deem it prudent to divulge our special and profound appreciation to OEC & Zhenjiang FAO for making this event a reality for us. The feeling was good and we really felt at home.
