THE MAKING OF A PERFECT THESIS

We are all aware of the pandemic that took place all over the world. While most of the international students aren’t able to return to school due to the situation, students are thus continuing their studies online. it is in this regard that leadership of Jiangsu University International Students’ PG Club organized a webinar session for undergraduate students on thesis writing.

The webinar session dubbed “The Making of a Perfect Thesis” was specifically designed and targeted to the final year undergraduate students who are writing their thesis to give them better guidelines for conducting research, writing a thesis, defending the thesis and avoiding the most common mistakes. In order to deliver the most insightful learning experience to the undergraduate students amidst this global pandemic, we had an expert in the person of Dr. Ade Smith Banwo who talked on the topic “Understanding the Basics of Writing, Defending Thesis and Making a Good PowerPoint”.

The webinar was anchored by Felix Kwame Nyarko, the President of the Jiangsu University International Students’ PG Club. The webinar session was held on the 5th of May, 2020 at 7pm Beijing time.The webinar session was highly successful with more than 50 students attending and actively engaged through the Q&A session with Dr Ade with contributions from Ebenezer Ababio, Waleed Yaseen and Nana Kwame Nkrumah.
