Li Hongbo, Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu University Committee, visited Overseas Education College，welcomed new students from 84 countries for the 2026 fall semester. and reviewed registration arrangements on September 9, 2026.

During his visit, Li Hongbo spoke with new students and their parents and learned about this year’s international enrollment, including students’ countries of origin, majors and registration progress. He encouraged the new students to become familiar with the university and campus life and make the most of their time at Jiangsu University.

This year, more than half of the newly admitted international students are degree-seeking students. To streamline the registration process, the Overseas Education College has introduced a one-stop service covering document verification, student registration, academic credential checks, accommodation, campus cards, bank cards and medical examination appointments.

More than 60 international senior students have also volunteered at the registration site, providing assistance in multiple languages and helping new students complete the registration process.

The new students will next attend orientation activities and the opening ceremony before selecting their courses and beginning the new semester.
