February 25^thand 26^thare two days for 2016 spring freshmen registration days. With dreamy expectations and yearnings，students from different countries around the world had started a wonderful journey.

Involving procedures of document check，fees payment，accommodation and residence permit，the registration of foreign students freshmen is complicated and time-consuming. With the cooperation of other units of JU, OEC worked out a well-designed plan and appeal the OECians to welcome the freshmen with enthusiasm. Collaboratively, different offices guaranteed the success of freshmen registration by working together, well planning and overcoming difficulties.

To deploy the theory of “supply front reform” and improve service and management quality and efficiency, OEC equips with registration team with code scanner, photographic apparatus and web camera and updated information systems. With the assistance of these devices and system, the registration was efficient and accurate by saving the complicated typing and visualizing freshmen’s information. Meanwhile, the registration team was well trained not only for skills, but for service spirit and professionalism.

The high efficiency has deeply impressed freshmen, who had good first impression on JU. They said JU is beautiful and it had first-class facilities and services. The OEC staffs and students are warm and friend and the freshmen are looking forward to their campus life.

These years, under concern and guidance of leaders of JU, the foreign student education has achieved great progress. The number of foreign students, coming from more than 100 countries, has exceeded 1500，which makes JU the 4thin Jiangsu Province. Furthermore, there are 11 English-taught majors provided. In 2020，the number of foreign students of JU is expected to reach 3，000.
