On October 15, the Overseas Education College (OEC) of Jiangsu University held an alumni sharing and exchange session with four distinguished international alumni from from Ghana, Cameroon and Pakistan, including Dr. Eric Yaw Naminse, Dr. Joseph Jonathan Magoua, Dr. Sheikh Farhan Ashraf and Dr. Selorm Yao-Say Solomon Adade. The session was chaired by Ms. Wang Limin, Secretary of OEC CPC Branch, and attended by Vice Deans Prof. Feng Chunlai and Mr. Wang Bin together with OEC Students' Affairs Office Staff and international student representatives.

The four alumni, who obtained their doctoral degrees from Jiangsu University or other prestigious universities in China, are now engaged in teaching and research at well-known higher education institutions. During the session, they shared their study and work experiences in China, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Jiangsu University for its strong academic foundation and support, and reflected on how their time at JSU helped shape their professional growth and global outlook.

In the interactive discussion, the alumni exchanged ideas with current international students on topics such as balancing academic and personal life, enhancing Chinese language proficiency, and developing research competencies. They also encouraged students to cherish their study opportunities, remain curious, and pursue excellence.

Ms. Wang Limin warmly welcomed the alumni’s return to campus and commended their outstanding achievements. She expressed hope that they would continue to strengthen their connection with Jiangsu University and serve as ambassadors for international friendship and educational cooperation.

At the end of the event, all participants posed for a group photo to commemorate the occasion.

During the forum, alumni representatives returned to School of Management, School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, and School of Food and Biological Engineering, where they engaged in in-depth exchanges with faculty and student representatives.
